7/23/10: A belated blurb about this one since I didn't have time to talk about it earlier! This is a very non-traditional outfit for a girl (long skirts are the only choice for a young lady of good, modest upbringing). But we all know Tamarita isn't your average gal. For hunting and trapping she wears peasant clothes, and here she's dressed to be ready for anything. The trousers are castoff's from her brother, tied at the ankles to protect her lowers legs from branches or bugs. A long undershirt is the first layer over her torso, followed by a high-necked, 3/4 sleeve shirt with embroidery on the hem. The tunic, likewise is lined in embroidery and cinched at the waist with a leather belt. A frog hanging over the right hip can hold a dagger, a rope is atached at the left side.
